Kambo is a traditional ritual that uses the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog.
It has been used for generations by indigenous tribes in the Amazon, mainly for physical cleansing and strengthening the body.
The experience is often intense, but short-lived.
Your body does what it needs to do.
And yes... it can be a bit challenging at times.
Afterwards, many people experience a sense of clarity, calm, and space.

A Kambo session is a personal process.
It asks for surrender, but also for safety and trust.
In this setting, there are no distractions.
No group, no pace set by others.
All attention is on you.
For some, this simply feels more comfortable.
Because the process can be physically intense,
or because they prefer not to open up in a group setting.
And sometimes, it’s simply nice not to have to share this with others.
To be fully with yourself for a while.

This setting may be a good fit for you if:
We work with a maximum of two participants, who already know each other.

The session takes place in our home, in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.
We create a calm, safe, and clean space where you can fully surrender to the process.
Without unnecessary extras, but with attention to what truly matters.
Everything is set up to support you as well as possible.
So your body can do its work, and you can relax into it.

We begin by arriving calmly and taking time to settle into the space.
Gently shifting from the mind into the body.
From there, we take the time to connect with your intention and prepare the body for the session.
If it feels appropriate, rapé may be offered as an optional support in opening the space.
During the preparation, you will drink water to help the body get ready to cleanse.
We guide you through this step by step and you don’t need to know or do anything in advance.
The Kambo is then applied in a careful and attuned way.
The process itself is often intense, but relatively short.
Your body does exactly what it needs to do and we are simply there with you.
To support where needed, or to give space when that feels right.
After the session, there is time to rest and recover.
No rush, at your own pace.
Once the body has settled, a light and nourishing lunch will be prepared for you such as soup, fruit, and bread.
From there, we gently close the session and you return home.
We also remain available after the session for any questions, integration, or a moment of support if needed.

We work with attention, calmness, and experience.
But perhaps even more importantly… we are truly there with you.
During a Kambo session, a lot can happen, both physically and mentally.
In those moments, it’s important that you feel safe.
That you know someone is there who understands what is happening and can move with you through it.
We observe, listen, and feel along with you.
Sometimes that means being close.
Sometimes it means taking a step back and giving space.
We don’t direct the process.
But we also don’t leave you to go through it alone.
You don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
You don’t have to do it “right.”
You’re simply invited to be present with what is
and we hold the space with you.

We always begin with an online intake.
This allows us to gather the most important information and form an initial understanding of your situation.
After that, we schedule a moment to connect briefly by phone or Zoom.
A calm introduction in which we explore together whether this form is a good fit for you, and where there is space for any questions.
Kambo asks for careful preparation and is not suitable for everyone.
We guide you through this step by step, so you can enter the session feeling well prepared.
We take contraindications seriously and only work together when it feels right for both sides.

What is set in motion during a Kambo session often continues to unfold for some time afterwards.
On a physical level, the body may continue to cleanse and recover.
But mentally and emotionally, things can also keep moving — sometimes subtly, sometimes more noticeably.
Many people experience a sense of clarity, calm, or renewed energy in the days that follow.
At times, insights or shifts may also arise.
There is no fixed “outcome.”
Each body and each process is different.
That’s why we invite you to take some conscious space after the session.
To feel what is unfolding, without needing to immediately understand or explain it.
Rest, nourishment, and gentleness with yourself can support this.
We also remain available after the session for any questions, a conversation, or a moment of support when needed.
You don’t have to carry this on your own.
